Textile research from raw material to end
product
The Institute of Textile Technology and Process Engineering Denkendorf
develops under the direction of Prof. Dr.-Ing. Heinrich Planck innovative
processes and textile products for the industry. Interdisciplinary material
and product research is conducted for a wide range of applications –
along the complete production chain – from the raw material to the
end product. Important topics include technical textiles, life sciences,
and smart textiles. Aside from the conventional fields of textile technology
processes and mechanical engineering, included are biology and medicine.
Business units:
- Fiber and yarn technologies Renewable raw material,
