Success through cooperation.
The most important factor of success for the DITF is the application of
a close cooperative structure of regional, national, and international
networks. The DITF secure competitiveness by seeking internal and external
cooperations. Aside from a close cooperation with the Stuttgart University,
counted amongst numerous alliances with nationally and internationally
renowned institutions of higher education are industrial and non-university
related R&D institutions. Depending on the respective task, different
competences are combined for a holistic approach.
Practice-oriented education and professional development
Education and further education are among the fundamental tasks of the
DITF. The DITF have a connection to the Stuttgart University through the
textile technology and textile chemistry chairs, the honorary professorship
of economics and cybernetics as well as other courses of study. There
are also teaching cooperations with other colleges and universities. A
wide range of seminars and conferences – amongst others the well-known
Denkendorf Colloquia – supports the knowledge transfer to the industry.
