Concentrated strength

The DITF are subdivided into three research institutions – the ITV, ITCF, and the Center of Management Research – as well as the affiliated Product Service Ltd. As a transfer center for technology, the DITF offer a wide range of services to the market.

The ITV and ITCF and the Center of Management Research act independently on the market. The two directors of the institutes, ITV and ITCF, as well as a further member from the area of finances and controlling develop the fundamentals of scientific and research politics as well as the basics of upgrading and financial planning.

The Board of Trustees acts as supervisory organ and supports the DITF in collaboration. It offers council to both directors in terms of expert and structural orientation comprising representatives of the ministries of economy and science of the state Baden-Württemberg. The scientific advisory committee is comprised of directors, scientific staff members, and representatives of the industry. They offer direct council to the individual institutes depending on the respective topic.

The German Institutes for Textile and Fiber Research (DITF) Denkendorf are a foundation under public law supervised by the Wirtschaftsministerium Baden-Württemberg.
