In this research project (grant number 19275 N), a textile-based autonomous indoor living wall system with integrated lighting and irrigation and their control was developed. The autonomous system was designed in a modular way and the scalability was implemented in the form of a construction kit, which also includes an economic and ecological evaluation of the system.

This improvement of existing living wall concepts creates a great potential for new markets from the consumer to the contract sector.
