Digital engineering

The continuous digitization of all processes from development to production is the key to the successful implementation of Industry 4.0 in the textile industry.

The DITF deliver concepts and functional models of new technologies, which offer new possibilities in terms of the increasing individualization of textile products. A core competency of the DITF is making new technologies usable and testing them for the textile industry. The aim is to create closed digital process landscapes and digital images of products in the textile and clothing industry.

In the case of individualized medical and clothing products, for example, the process ranges from the digital image of the human body to virtual prototypes and finished individual pieces.
